A central hub for Jewish media
The name describes the intent: a central platform that brings together forms of Jewish media and services under one identity, as a comprehensive resource for the community.
Mission
Each project preserves or interprets a part of Jewish life that is usually passed from person to person and rarely written down: the practical knowledge of the gabbai, the melodies of the chazzan, the stories of the Talmud told to children, and the Torah a community writes for itself before the holidays.
The hub gives those projects a shared home, a shared editorial standard and shared infrastructure, so each can grow without having to build its own.
Editorial standard
- Faithful to the source. Every story cites its daf; every recording names its tradition.
- Bilingual by default. Hebrew and English are given together where the reader needs both.
- Open to contribution. Recordings, corrections and reviews are welcomed and credited.
- Made to be used. A chazzan preparing for Friday night, a gabbai on Shabbos morning and a parent on a Sunday afternoon should each find what they need in a few clicks.
In planning
Beyond the four active projects, the hub's founding outline includes a Halacha Corner for modern responsa, Community Solutions for communities navigating shared challenges, and Community Development Resources, beginning with education and eruvim. These will be added as they are ready.
